To be eligible for a HomeSmart-i home financing, you must be at least 18 years old and not more than 60 years old. Both Malaysian residents and non-residents can apply. 

You will need:

• A photocopy of your identity card or passport
• Your latest 3 months of salary slips, or an Employee Income Statement (EA form)
• Your latest bank statements dating back six months (compulsory if you don't have salary slips and/or an EA Form) showing salary or payments credited to the account
• Proof of property purchase – any one of these documents: Sale and Purchase Agreement, deposit or booking receipt, letter of offer from the housing developer

The minimum home financing tenor is 5 years. The maximum is 35 years or until your 70th birthday, whichever is earlier, and is subject to the bank's discretion.

The home financing amount ranges from RM50,000 to RM5,000,000.

• Stamp duty
  As per the Stamp Act 1949 (Revised 1989)
• Legal fees (and applicable tax, if any)
• Disbursements including fees for registration of charge and other related charges
• Monthly service fee
  Monthly fee of RM10 (and applicable tax, if any) for the term of the home financing
• Advance lease rental
  RM40.00 per month will be charged if the average utilisation rate (average outstanding balance divided by the current month facility limit) for the month is less than 50%

The Advance lease rental will only be applied (if applicable) upon full disbursement of the facility or upon first repayment of the monthly instalment, whichever is earlier. When applicable, it only applies for the period of 5 years from the date of full disbursement or first monthly instalment date.
