Interbank GIRO

Pay your HSBC Amanah bills and transfer funds with our MEPS Interbank Giro service

MEPS Interbank GIRO (IBG) is a network service between 19 participating banks in Malaysia that allows you to make transactions between your different bank accounts.

This means that you no longer need to run from one bank to another to settle your payments or transfer funds.

You can enjoy two kinds of MEPS IBG service:

MEPS IBG Outward Fund Transfer

Outward Fund Transfer allows you to transfer funds from your HSBC Amanah or HSBC account into any of your accounts at participating IBG banks so that you can:

• Settle your card bills with another bank
• Pay your home, personal and business facility instalments
• Make your personal financing payments

There are two simple ways you can do this:

Over the counter
1. Visit your nearest HSBC/HSBC Amanah branch with the necessary documents.
2. Request to do an InterBank GIRO.
3. Fill in the forms and your bank officer will process your request.

Internet banking service
1. You must be registered for online banking services with HSBC Amanah.
2. Logon to your online@hsbcamanah account.
3. Follow the easy instructions for GIRO transfer

*Each IBG transaction costs only RM2.

MEPS IBG Inward Fund Transfer

Inward Fund Transfer allows you to transfer funds from any of your accounts at participating IBG banks to your HSBC Amanah account so that you can:

• Settle your HSBC Amanah card bills
• Pay your home, personal and business facility instalments
• Make your personal financing payments

There are two simple ways you can do this:

Over the counter
1. Bring the necessary documents to any participating bank where you have an account.
2. Request to do an InterBank GIRO.
3. Fill in the forms and your bank officer will process your request.

Internet banking service
1. You must be registered for online banking services with HSBC Amanah.
2. Visit another participating bank's website.
3. Follow the easy instructions for GIRO transfer.
